Lil Lonnie

Mississippi MC Lil Lonnie recruits R&B breakout Bryson Tiller for "Change Up" off his forthcoming They Know What's Going On 2 project (the follow-up to his 2015 project of the same name, which hosted the go-getting anthem "Colors.")

The 20-year old spitter says that "Change Up" harps on staying humble even while stacking your paper. "The song is about people changing for the fame but we’re not changing," he tells Billboard over email. "You know when somebody gets a little bit of money that they didn’t have before then they start acting differently? No matter now much money or fame I get, it won’t change the person that I am."
