Latest news on the BET Experience front: Ty Dolla $ign will join the Saturday night concert slate at the Staples Center (June 25), along with previously announced performers Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Fetty Wap, A$AP Ferg and Tory Lanez.

Usher and Bryson Tiller are among the additional Staples Center headliners performing that weekend (June 23-26) in advance of the BET Awards. Once again there will be accompanying shows and events at The Novo (formerly Club Nokia), which will be announced shortly.

“Sunshine” is the title of Eric Benét’s new single. The feel-good groove will be available for download on May 13 along with a studio performance video that includes his oldest daughter India. “Sunshine”-- which Benét describes as a “reflective memory about a relationship that has lost its spark”-- will be featured on Benét’s eighth studio album, set for release in the fall. Fans can hear a snippet of the track via www.EricBenet.net.

Salt-N-Pepa, Kid ‘N Play, All-4-One and Vanilla Ice will perform on the Today Show on April 29 in support of the 29-city I Love the ‘90s tour. Also featuring such memory-evoking acts as Tone-Loc, Color Me Badd and Kool Moe Dee, the junket includes upcoming stops in Baltimore, Nashville, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Indianapolis between April and August.

Crisscrossing the country at the same time are Anthony Hamilton and Fantasia. The Grammy winners’ co-headlining tour kicks off today (April 21) in Buffalo, NY. Their spring run will make stops in Detroit, Chicago, New York City, Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles before wrapping June 19 in Charlotte, North Carolina where both artists reside.
