Multi-hyphenate Spiff TV fuses hip-hop with reggaeton for the first offering off his forthcoming hip-hop/ urban Latin combination called "Mi Combo" featuring Atlanta rapper Future and Puerto Rican reggaeton act Yandel

The A&R, producer and video director (real name Carlos Suarez) says combining genres is a nod to his different worlds. “The music video’s concept is to share my blended world, which is hip-hop, reggaeton and Latin hip-hop,” says Spiff TV in a statement sent to Billboard. “My vision for the single, music video and my upcoming album with other artists, is to represent the combination of their sounds, beats and each artist’s swag.  And, of course, their personal style to develop a new concept that supports a global movement.”

"Mi Combo" -- produced by Latin music beatsmiths NelyTainy and The Mechanics -- will appear on the yet-to-be-titled project that will also include features from Daddy Yankee, Rick Ross and French Montana on one track as well as J. Balvin and Fetty Wap.

Spiff TV already boasts an impressive resume: after becoming the A&R and music video director for the Maybach Music Group roster, he also serves as president of MMG Latino, signing Latin hip-hop acts. He is also readying his first full-length film called Respect The Shooter with contributions from French Montana, Chris Brown and Michael K. Williams. Both the Latin hip-hop compilation and the film are set for release later this year.
