With racial tensions and cases of police brutality often dominating headlines, R&B singer/ songwriter Kevin Ross flips the lows into high notes with a powerful visual for "Be Great" featuring rapper Chaz French and making its debut on Billboard.

“This song is dedicated to fear. No longer should this generation allow fear to dictate our lives," Ross tells Billboard of the Jasmine D. Waters-directed clip. "It is time for us to reach our full potential with no hesitation and no regrets. To all those who are reading this, no matter what you do or who you are in this life... be great."

In 2014, the Motown/Verve signee served up his Dialogue in the Grey EP boasting collaborations with T.I. and Ne-Yo and lent his vocals to Glade air freshener’s #FEELGLADE holiday campaign. "Be Great" was also featured in a recent episode of the ABC hit Grey's Anatomy. He also released his Dream Chasers project in 2015.
