Young Thug is saying R.I.P. to Slime Season. The Atlanta rapper revealed the release date for the third installment of his Slime Season series at SXSW with a casket that read "3.25.16" and a funeral procession -- alongside a marching band -- that rolled through Austin's 6th Street on Friday (March 18).

Thug's frequent collaborator Be El Be confirmed the drop date after retweeting a Billboard staffer's picture of the procession. "Don't like the casket theme at all But there goes your date on ss3," he wrote.

A rep also said the procession marked the end of Thug's Slime Season era and the beginning of what was being described internally as "Year of Thug."
