'Hip-Hop's Quincy Jones' DJ Khaled Reveals Who 'They' Are to Ellen DeGeneres
Anyone who stalks DJ Khaled's SnapChat knows that he has major keys to share. The We The Best CEO stopped by The Ellen Show for his first TV interview for some serious cloth talk (his multiple titles, Jay Z becoming his new manager) while also revealing who the oft-referenced "they" is in his social media catchphrases.
"Please, Ellen, stay away from them," said Khaled. "'They' is the person who told you you would never have a Ellen Show. 'They' is that one person in the room when you get a raise then that one person in the corner be like, 'Man, I hate that person.' 'They' are the people who don't believe in you, that say you won't succeed so we stay away from 'They'. 'They' never wanted me on The Ellen Show now, look at me, I'm on The Ellen Show.
Khaled continued to be a fountain of positive mantras, describing his healthy lifestyle and love for apples. "I am like the hip-hop Quincy Jones, but I'm a CEO too," he adds. "I'm a young mogul, I'm an entrepreneur, I'm blessed."
