A$AP Rocky Attacked in New Zealand Elevator: Report

UPDATE: A$AP Rocky responded to the rumors on Twitter (Feb. 24). "ASSAULTED?," he wrote, "N---AS GET SHOT EVERY DAY B, HA." 

A$AP Rocky was reportedly attacked in New Zealand, over a dispute involving an elevator ride at his hotel.

The rapper was at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland around 3 a.m. local time on Thursday following a concert and was getting into the elevator with some women when it happened, according to TMZ. Three men reportedly wanted to get in the elevator as well, but were told there was no room left and they assaulted him in response, punching him in the face.

Witnesses told TMZ they men were yelling, "Fuck A$AP" when they did it. Eventually hotel security broke up the altercation and police arrived, apprehending one suspect -- a 35-year-old local arrested for assault and resisting police. 

Rocky is scheduled to perform at the Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park, New South Wales, Australia, on Thursday night.
