Kanye West Blames Chance the Rapper for Delayed Release of 'The Life of Pablo'

Kanye West is blaming Chance the Rapper for the delayed release of his new album, Life of Pablo.

West tweeted late Friday night (Feb. 12) that the highly anticipated album hasn’t officially been released because Chance wanted to finish his part on the new song “Waves.”

“I fought everyone to keep Waves on the album. I spent all night finishing it. The world is better because of it,” Chance the Rapper tweeted along with a photo of the album’s track listing.

“Life of Pablo” was originally scheduled for release on Friday after West’s launch event at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday.  

Meanwhile, West was excited about some new tweaks on Life of Pablo.

“I’M SO HYPE RIGHT NOW EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED … HAVE YA’LL EVER SEEN TRON? THE END OF THE TRON WHERE EVERYTHING LIGHT UP!!!!” the rapper tweeted late Friday.
