Shortly after teasing his new album Waves, Kanye West went off on a lengthy Twitter rant against Wiz Khalifa

Kanye's big announcement about Swish turning into Waves prompted the "See You Again" rapper to fire off a series of tweets and wave the flag for imprisoned rapper Max B.

"Max B is the wavy one," tweeted Wiz. "He created the wave. There is no wave without him."

See how the timeline scuffle played out below.

After unveiling his third tracklist, West addressed Wiz's comments on his own timeline, although West seems to misunderstand Wiz's use of the initials "KK." Wiz uses KK to refer to "Khalifa Kush," his strand of weed, but Kanye thought Wiz was referring to his wife, Kim Kardashian.

Khalifa dished out a few tweets in response.

The squabble continued with Kanye plugging in a Kimoji (his wife Kim Kardashian's emoji pack) and a comment about Wiz's pants.

The tweets then got a little personal on 'Ye's side, who made reference to Wiz's former wife, Amber Rose. (For the uninitiated, Rose is also West's ex.) West even cites Wiz's son, Sebastian.

The tweeting spree wraps with a final plug.

Billboard has reached out to reps for Kanye and Wiz for additional comment. In the event the MCs decide to erase their tweets, their exchange can be seen below.
