Erykah Badu Remixes Kanye West's 'Real Friends' As 'Trill Friends'

Erykah Badu's SoundCloud is the gift that keeps on giving. The remix queen -- who covered Drake's "Hotline Bling" last October -- delivered her own version of Kanye West's "Real Friends" aptly titled "Trill Friends."

"Homeboyshomegirls, some of them we wish we never knew at all," sings Badu on the beat, co-produced by 'Ye, Frank Dukes, Boi 1da and Havo. The original West song marked the first of several free releases he will be rolling out every Friday till his seventh studio effort SWISH drops on Feb. 11.

The esteemed soulstress says "Trill Friends" is a rough mix, admitting in the song description, "BADU MESSIN ROUND THIS MORNIN (really suppose be recording something else ...)."

Badu also revealed that "Trill Friends" will appear on her forthcoming mixtape THIS $h!t TOO EASY.
