A year after his passing, some of A$AP Yams’ most memorable tweets have become a book called A$AP Yams Gems, thanks to New York artist Ajani Brathwaite. The co-founder of the A$AP Mob -- home to rap talents including A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg -- died from an accidental drug overdose last January.

Known for his unique and LOL-worthy timeline notes, Steven “A$AP Yams” Rodriguez poked fun at his lifestyle on his Twitter, which carries 98,000-plus followers. Sample tweet: “IN THE CLUB ASKING BITCHES IF THEY WANNA COLLABORATE ON A THINK PIECE WITH ME.”

Brathwaite tells Billboard over email, "My inspiration for making the book was to make the Internet tangible. We're all on the Internet all day tapping away on our touch screen phones. I had this idea of turning the virtual world into something real; Something you can hold and feel."

He adds, "I chose A$AP Yams because of the role he had in shaping today's pop culture & because of his off-the-wall - yet, genuine - tweets."
