The release date of Rihanna's eighth studio effort ANTI is still unknown, but rumors continue to swirl around the singer's highly anticipated project.

Songwriter Glass John -- who wrote a potential ANTI track that Rih teased on Instagram last December called "Kiss It Better" -- took to Twitter recently (Dec. 27) for a lengthy rant where he blames Travi$ Scott for the LP's delay and also refers to Rihanna as "his wife."

"I'm fighting to get "Kiss It Better" to the world... But Travis Scott has been delaying it," tweets John before later writing, "ME AND MY WIFE WENT IN THE STUDIO W/ CLASSIC HIT MAKER @JEFFBHASKER TO CREATW A CLASSIC ANTHEM. And fucking Travis prevented it from being her first $ingle and launching her album last year." Billboard reached out to Roc Nation for comment but did not immediately hear back. A rep for Rihanna declined to comment.

As seen below, John's tweets read like an anti-Travi$ Scott campaign. Glass' management also took over his Twitter account on Monday morning (Dec. 28).

John then live tweeted an alleged conference call with Rih and Roc Nation boss Jay Z about letting the Jeff Bhasker-produced track loose.

Several rumored release dates for Rihanna's ANTI album have swirled the past few months, though no official announcements were made. Singer-songwriter Sia shared earlier this month that she recently met with the pop star to play tunes for the ANTI set.

Sia Talks Meeting With Rihanna for Possible 'Anti' Songs

"The other night she came over and listened to half of 25 songs I played her because she's still looking for songs for her new album," she told BBC Radio 2's Jo Whiley at the time. "She was there to listen to songs and see if there was anything that she was into. It was a business meeting for sure. She took four but I don't know if they'll end up [on the album]."

Rihanna continues to drum up hype for the project after having announced a world tour with Scott, The Weeknd and Big Sean. She also partnered with Samsung in November for a cryptic site called ANTIDiaRy, where followers can search for clues and keys to unlock mini-episodes featuring the singer.
