J. Cole's 'Forest Hills Drive' HBO Special Trailer Hits Web: Watch

HBO teased J. Cole's upcoming special over the weekend with a trailer that gives an inside look into the rapper's life and upbringing.

“My dream for Fayetteville is that people here can wake up and realize that anything you want is possible if you want it,” Cole says of his North Carolina hometown in trailer for J. Cole Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming.

The 90-minute special is a concert film that interweaves the story of Cole’s life. As seen in the clip, the presentation will feature cameos from Drake and Jay Z, and include performances from Cole’s third album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive.

“Growing up it felt like there wasn’t no opportunity here. I would come back home and there’s that feeling that there’s no place like home,” Cole says in the trailer, adding that he’s appreciative of each moment.

J. Cole Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming will air Jan. 9 at 10 p.m. ET.
