"I do shit how I want it, need no blessing," The Weeknd proclaims on "Tell Your Friends," off his upcoming sophomore studio album, Beauty Behind the Madness (Aug. 28).

As much as he croons about disregarding others' opinions on the Kanye West-produced album cut, that sentiment only doubles when it comes to people’s lives in its accompaning music video -- including his own. Watch below:

After The Weeknd pulls off his second killing in the Grant Singer-directed visual, the song segues to another Beauty Behind the Madness track, "Real Life."

The singer-songwriter performed a few songs from Beauty Behind the Madness ("Can't Feel My Face," "The Hills") on Saturday, Aug. 22, at Billboard's Hot 100 Festival. He also won over the concert-goers with a cover of Beyoncé's hit "Drunk In Love."
