Run the Jewels' El-P Calls 'Meow' Kickstarter 'An Opportunity to Do Something Good in a Fun Way'

"Meowrly" adds purrs and meows aplenty to the BOOTS-produced Run The Jewels 2 track "Early," but without going overboard.

Meow the Jewels was originally listed as a ludicrous pre-order package in support of the Run the Jewels 2's October release, listed at the price of $40,000 to get the album composed with cat sounds. With thanks to a Kickstarter campaign, that money was raised and then some to make it happen.
