M.I.A. just announced a three-song, 12-minute mixtape on Instagram -- apparently, the fruits of a conflict with her label that she alluded to last month on social media.

The mixtape will be accompanied by a video that, according to the artist's prior tweets, is of a dancer in Africa (one of "the best in the wide world," in her words). According to her latest Instagram post (which, via the caption, may be as much news to her label as it is to her fans), it's "one piece all joined together," and goes "country to country."
