Kendrick Lamar will join Saturday Night Live as the show's musical guest on Nov. 15, along with host Woody Harrelson. The show made the announcement on Twitter Saturday.

This will be Lamar's second time appearing on SNL as the musical guest, and third overall after making a surprise appearance with Imagine Dragons last season.

In preview of his highly anticipated new album, which is supposed to be released sometime this year, Lamar dropped the feel good single 'i' in September. That track's been making the rounds lately in TNT's NBA commercial spots and with a recent performance at the Cleveland Cavalier's season opening home game.

With the announcement of the SNL gig, fans expect Lamar has more new music coming soon.
