Watch Lil Wayne Rap Over ESPN's 'Sports Center' Theme

It's no secret Lil Wayne loves sports and ESPN, but getting him to rap over the Sports Center theme is new level of fan engagement.

The rap icon showed up at the sports network offices in Bristol, Conn. offices bright and early following a gig in Hartford, Conn. the night before. He dropped by First Take first thing, where's he's appeared several times before, to talk basketball, namely Kobe Bryant, LaBron James and Drake and the Toronto Rappers, before conversation turned to football with Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees. Then, later, on Sports Center, Weezey joined Sports Center to reveal the release date and album art for his anticipated Tha Carter V album as well as freestyle over the show's popular theme song.

In the rap he opens up kind of cutesy, "I don't give a football what y'all think about the tour, I'm just hoping that it's good thoughts," continuing on name drop the Top 10 Plays segment, his allegiance to his teams the Green Bay Packers and the Los Angeles Lakers.

He was also apparently told to wear a dress shirt but, as he raps, "Instead I wore a t-shirt, Michael Jordan sneakers, Red Sox ball cap my dead locks fall back."
