June 12: Kanye West shares with the Design Miami/ Basel audience parts of its unreleased new album Yeezus during a listening session at Design Miami/ Basel in Basel, Switzerland.

The outspoken hip-hop star adds to his quote collection in a tease for next week's Radio 1 interview.

In a tease for next week's Kanye West BBC Radio 1 interview with Zane Lowe, a YouTube video has cherry-picked a few new classic lines to add to the outspoken hip-hop star's phrase book.

"We the real rock stars and I'm the biggest of all of them," he tells Lowe. "I'm the No. 1 rock star on the planet." Without context, one might guess he's talking about hip-hop's dominance in pop culture -- and arena tours, one of which West will be heading on in October.

He also refers back to 2010's "My Dark Twisted Fantasy," an album that was among his most-praised by critics.

"'Dark Fantasy' could be considered to be perfect. I know how to make perfect, but that's not why I'm here," he says, not far from his remarks to the New York Times earlier this year.

"That was the album where I gave people what they wanted," he said at the time.

West's four-part sit-down with Lowe will launch on Monday.
