Kanye West Raises VMAs Hell, Beatles Sell Well

Kanye West and Taylor Swift at the VMAs.

In this Monday edition of the Daily Noise, brought to you by Fuse and Billboard, Kanye West raises hell, the Beatles are flying off the shelves and Q-Tip drops his new record.

The big buzz from MTV's Video Music Awards yesterday was not a pleasant one. During Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for her music video "You Belong With Me," Kanye West interrupted by jumping on stage and saying that Beyonce should have won instead. West was escorted out of the show immediately. There has been quite a response from various celebrities.

In other news, the Beatles reissues are selling fast; they're expected to top 500,000 or 600,000 in the first week. The two most popular albums have been "Abbey Road" and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club."

Rapper Q-Tip has a new album out dropping tomorrow (Sept. 15), titled "Kamaal the Abstract." Currently, Tip isn't planning to tour behind the album, but will be playing the Voodoo Experience in New Orleans on Halloween Weekend with Eminem and Jane's Addiction, among others.
