Mickey Guyton is teaming with Disney's original series Mickey Mouse Funhouse for the upcoming episode "The Wandrin' Warbler."

In the episode, Guyton lends her voice to the character Wanda Warbler, a popular country music singer, as Mickey Mouse and his band of friends head to Sunny Gulch to hear Warbler perform. Guyton also performs the original song "Won't Go Wanderin'" in the episode.

The episode will premiere Friday, Oct. 15 at 8 a.m. ET on Disney Channel and at 11 a.m. ET on Disney Junior.

On Wednesday (Oct. 13), Guyton will be honored during CMT's Artists of the Year ceremony, where she will be perform and be recognized as breakout artist of the year. Also among this year's CMT Artists of the Year honorees are artist of a lifetime honoree Randy Travis, as well as 2021 honorees Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Kane Brown, Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton. This marks the fourth time in the history of the event that the breakout artist of the year honor has been given, with Guyton joining previous honorees Chris Stapleton (2015), Kelsea Ballerini (2016) and Ashley McBryde (2019).

Guyton also recently released her long-awaited full-length debut project, Remember Her Name, spearheaded by songs including the title track, as well as "Black Like Me," "What Are You Gonna Tell Her?," "Different" and a new rendition of Guyton's 2015 debut single, "Better Than You Left Me."

The Disney spot and CMT honors are just the latest for Guyton, who recently became the first Black female solo artist to earn a Grammy nomination in a country category, for her release "Black Like Me," which she also performed on the Grammys stage earlier this year. She also co-hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards alongside Keith Urban and is nominated for her first CMA Award, for new artist of the year, at the upcoming Country Music Association Awards on Nov. 10.
