Grab your cousin and two glasses because Thomas Rhett has launched a new premium tequila brand called Dos Primos.

The country star partnered with his cousin Jeff Worn for their latest venture in the liquor business that's been three years in the making. The two worked "with fourth-generation distillers who hand-crafted a Mexican tradition inspired by our southern roots," according to Rhett's Instagram post.

It's an apparent winner in Rhett's family because even his mother, whom he claims "is not a tequila fan," likes Dos Primos. When one IG user asked the "Smooth Like the Summer" singer just how smooth the blanco tequila is, he said it's the "smoothest tequila I've ever had. My mom even likes it and is not a tequila fan haha."

The 2020 ACM Awards entertainer of the year also noted how much he and his wife, Lauren Akins, enjoy drinking tequila together and where he hopes his fans will be sipping on Dos Primos, which means "two cousins" in Spanish. "My wife and I love to enjoy tequila together, and I'm excited for people to share a bottle with friends, sip it around a bonfire or enjoy it on a fishing trip or at tailgate or concert," he said in a press statement. "Dos Primos is about unwinding and enjoying the people and things that really matter in life."

The "premium sippin' tequila" is distilled from 100% blue agave that comes from Los Altos and the valley area of Jalisco in Mexico. Dos Primos is distilled at Destiladora González Lux, which is located outside the city of Arandas, in the highlands of Jalisco. Third-generation Master Distiller Rodolfo González helped Rhett and Worn make the tequila, featuring hints of earthly herbs and summer citrus and floral notes.

"There's no greater thrill or commitment than putting your name on something you believe in," Worn said in the statement. "Our names are more than just our reputation -- they represent our legacy and our future. That's not something Thomas Rhett and I take lightly. We are proud of this product, and we're excited to introduce Dos Primos."

Rhett teased he and Worn were "working on something fun" on Jan. 8 in a screen-recording of their video chat and had fans guessing on his IG story what that might be.
