Luke Combs helped kick off his Super Bowl weekend with a rowdy visit to Saturday Night Live.

The music star made his debut at New York's Studio 8H on Feb. 1, performing his 2019 single "Beer Never Broke My Heart" and his country anthem "Lovin' on You."

Backed by his longtime backing band, the North Carolina singer rocked his signature trucker hat and a Hank Williams "Bocephus" T-shirt during the passionate SNL performances. Watch his set below.

The pre-Super Bowl episode was appropriately hosted by NFL star J.J. Watt.

Combs just came off a massively successful 2019. After releasing his debut album This One’s For You in 2017, it celebrated 50 weeks at No. 1 atop the Top Country Albums chart this year. His 2019 follow-up, What You See Is What You Get, also broke the record for biggest streaming week for a country album and became his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
