Chris Stapleton to Headline First Event at Texas Rangers' New Stadium

Country superstar Chris Stapleton has been tapped to christen the brand-new Globe Life Field in 2020. The venue will serve as the home field for Major League Baseball’s Texas Rangers in Arlington, Texas.

Presented by Live Nation, Stapleton will hit the stage on March 14 with special guests Willie Nelson & Family, Jamey Johnson and British country-soul singer Yola.

Additional confirmed 2020 tour dates for Stapleton include “A Concert for Kentucky”—a special performance benefitting Stapleton’s newly created Outlaw State of Kind Hometown Fund. Held at the University of Kentucky’s Kroger Field in Lexington, Kentucky on April 25, the show will feature very special guests Willie Nelson & Family, Sheryl Crow and Yola.

The stadium will be located just outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and a few miles away from the home of National Football League’s Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium. Globe Life Field is expected to hold 40,000 fans and will kick off regular season games for the Rangers beginning in late March or early April.

Tickets fir Stapleton’s Globe Life Field performance will go on sale Nov. 1 at 10am local time. Stapleton Fan Club pre-sale will begin Oct. 29 at 10am local time.
