The walls between country and other genres have grown noticeably thinner in recent years, underscored by Kane Brown's collaboration with Marshmello, "One Thing Right," which occupies the No. 1 position on the Hot Country Songs chart dated Oct. 12.

If the last week is any indication, expect that Marshmello/crossover trend to "stay puffed" up — at least in the immediate future — as several more country/pop hybrid efforts were unveiled. They include:

• Justin Bieber made his country chart debut, checking in at No. 20 on Country Airplay with "10,000 Hours," which teams him with Dan + Shay. The track was released Oct. 4, four days after the duo sang the song at Bieber's South Carolina wedding reception.

• Four years after she kick-started her own career with "My Church," Maren Morris unleashed a new version of current single "The Bones," featuring "Take Me to Church" singer Hozier.

• MCA artist Clare Dunn revamped her song "My Love" with songwriter-rapper INGRID, adding EDM elements to a cut that was already progressive-pop.

• Kelsea Ballerini announced plans for an outdoor concert at Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater on Oct. 11 to shoot an installment of CMT Crossroads with Halsey. Their episode will debut in early 2020.
