Zac Brown Band stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday evening (Sept. 23), for an energetic performance of “The Woods.” The song, featured on ZBB’s latest album The Owl, highlights frontman Zac Brown’s commanding vocals and life philosophies.

“What floats your boat might sink mine/ What makes me smile might make you cry/ You might get low, I might stay high/ To each their own, ain’t that right?” he croons on the feel-good track.

Backed by a band of stellar musicians, Brown & Co. impressed with soaring fiddle features, a driving beat and ear-grabbing guitar parts. At one point, the band had the New York studio audience singing along to the infectious track.

“The Woods” is one of several genre-bending songs on The Owl. For the project, ZBB enlisted the help of several producers including Max Martin, Ryan TedderBenny BlancoSkrillex, Andrew Watt and Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd.
