Alana Springsteen was drawn to music at a young age. At seven years old, her grandfather introduced her to a classical guitar and, three years later, she performed the National Anthem for the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Now 18, the country newcomer is spending time on the road with Filmore and Josh Turner for select dates throughout 2019.
Last year, Springsteen signed with Luke Wooten’s publishing company Warehouse West Entertainment. This past June, she released her self-titled debut EP, which showcases her vivid storytelling and memorable vocals. One of those tracks, “Always Gonna Love You,” Billboard premieres the acoustic video for below.
“I wrote ‘Always Gonna Love You’ with two of my favorite writers in Nashville, Melissa Fuller and Andy Skib,” Springsteen tells Billboard. “It’s been one of my favorite songs I’ve written for a while because I feel like it captures young love and the uncertainty of it in a really unique and honest way.”
