Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton arrive at the Los Angeles premiere of "Bennett's War" at Warner Bros. Studios on Aug. 13, 2019 in Burbank, Calif.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani made a rare public appearance Tuesday night when they walked the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Bennett’s War.

Shelton’s upcoming collaborator Trace Adkins stars in the film as Cal Bennett, the father of Marshall Bennett, a young soldier with the Army Motorcycle Unit who survives an IED explosion in combat overseas. Medically discharged with a broken back and leg, once the younger Marshall returns home he learns his family may lose their farm. The film hits theaters on Aug. 30.

Meanwhile, Shelton and Adkins’ upcoming collaboration, “Hell Right,” will be released Friday. Shelton’s new single will impact country radio on Aug. 19 and follows up his most recent No. 1 hit “God’s Country.” The song was penned by David Garcia, Brett Tyler and Michael Hardy.

“We had several songs cut that we had been excited about and still are, but when I heard ‘Hell Right’ I called my producer Scott [Hendricks] and said, ‘I don’t want to rock the boat here, I just feel like we need to go in and cut this and see how it works out,’” Shelton said in a statement.

“After living with it about three or four days, I just had an idea that Trace Adkins would be perfect to have on this record with me. I’ve been saying for the last few months, I’m just recording songs that I want to make with no apologies, with no rhyme or reason, and I’ve been making them with the people I want to make them with," he added. "I’m just making records that I’m excited about.”
