Jessie James Decker has been covering Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” throughout her 2019 tour and has now released her own version of the song ahead of 2019 CMA Fest. The country singer has also penned a new verse for the track, putting a unique spin on the monster hit.

“You can call me Daisy Duke in my snakeskin boots/ Yeah, I’m just a little Georgia peach swinging in my blue jeans,” she sings on the track.

Upon the song’s release on Wednesday morning (June 5), the singer told fans on Instagram that she has an idea up her sleeves if the song hits No. 1: “I may be getting on a horse riding up and down on Broadway if this goes number one!”

Decker will make an appearance on the 2019 CMT Music Awards tonight as a presenter before performing later in the week as part of CMA Fest. The awards show airs live from Nashville on CMT at 8/7 Central.

Meanwhile, Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road," featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, spends a ninth week atop the Billboard Hot 100 (dated June 8). The singer is also scheduled to make an appearance at CMA Fest.
