Brooks & Dunn Book 'CMT Crossroads' Gig
The duo will perform with Brett Young, Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi, Luke Combs, Midland and Brandon Lancaster from LANCO.
Brooks & Dunn are the latest country act scheduled to film an episode of CMT Crossroads. The new Country Music Hall of Fame inductees will take the stage with Brett Young, Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi, Luke Combs, Midland and Brandon Lancaster from LANCO for the hour-long CMT special.
CMT Crossroads: Brooks & Dunn and Friends is scheduled to tape in downtown Nashville on June 4, the day before the 2019 CMT Music Awards. The show will premiere on CMT June 28 at 10 p.m. ET.
Fans are invited to attend the Crossroads taping, which will be held at the corner of 5th and Broadway in downtown Nashville. The taping begins at 8:30 p.m. CT for the standing-room only event, which is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Acts performing with Brooks & Dunn are also featured on the duo’s latest release, Reboot. The 12-track project landed at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart earlier this year and features the pair’s many hits with new collaborations featuring several rising country artists.
The latest episode of CMT Crossroads with Brooks & Dunn is a departure from CMT's typical format of pairing two artists from different genres. Previous genre-crossing performances from the show’s franchise include Young and Boyz II Men, John Mayer and Keith Urban; Steven Tyler and Carrie Underwood; Stevie Nicks and Lady Antebellum; Katy Perry and Kacey Musgraves; Alicia Keys and Maren Morris, among others.
