Welcome back to Takeover Tuesday, where each week, Billboard taps chart-topping artists and tastemakers to compile their very own playlist exclusive to Billboard's Spotify account. We give the artists free rein to base the list on whatever subject they choose. The only rule? Make it as creative and unique to them as possible.

Though Thanksgiving is upon us this week, LeAnn Rimes has been in the holiday spirit for months. The Grammy-winning singer started off November with the release of her Hallmark original movie, It’s Christmas, Eve, that premiered on Nov.10 and will be re-airing throughout the holiday season on the channel. The film's spirited soundtrack is also out now, and features three songs co-penned by Rimes herself.

Before she sets off on her 6th annual You and Me and Christmas Holiday Tour on Nov. 30, Rimes shared the ten holiday songs that for her, capture the spirit of Christmas. From original songs, to unique renditions of old favorites, these tracks embody the feelings of love, happiness and togetherness that define the holiday season just as much as presents and falling snow, featuring songs like Bob Seger’s bluesy take on “Little Drummer Boy,” and John Mayer’s soft-spoken (and ironically titled) serenade “St. Patrick’s Day.”

“I wanted to mix it up a bit, so I included some rockers like U2, to Jet to Stevie Nicks, and some country icons like Alabama,” Rimes tells Billboard. “There are songs that are infectious and jolly, some that tear at your heartstrings and some in between. There is a little something for everyone.”
