Old Dominion Treats 2018 CMA Awards With a Sultry Performance of 'Hotel Key'

Nashville five-piece Old Dominion transformed the Country Music Association Awards stage on Wednesday night (Nov. 14) into a blue and purple neon-lit dream for a feel-good performance of their hit "Hotel Key" -- a sultry groove about a one-night stand in a hotel room.

Swaying across the stage in a burgundy button-down, frontman Matthew Ramsey serenaded the crowd with the track's tongue-in-cheek lyrics about "hearts on our sleeves and the clothes all over the floor." The track peaked at No. 48 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this fall, cracking the top five of Hot Country Songs.

Just minutes later, Old Dominion accepted the award for vocal group of the year -- their second time being nominated in that category.
