Welcome back to Takeover Tuesday, where each week, Billboard taps chart-topping artists and tastemakers to compile their very own playlist exclusive to Billboard's Spotify account. We give the artists free rein to base the list on whatever subject they choose. The only rule? Make it as creative and unique to them as possible.

Ashley Monroe has had a productive 2018. After releasing her critically acclaimed fourth studio album, Sparrow, in April, the country songstress reunited with country super group Pistol Annies (alongside bandmates Miranda Lambert and Angaleena Presley) to release Interstate Gospel, the trio's first studio album in five years, on Nov. 2.

Monroe isn't slowing down next year, either: The 32-year-old singer is heading to the U.K. and Europe in 2019 in support of Sparrow. In preparation for heading out on the open road -- and in line with Pistol Annies' latest release -- Monroe has created an Interstate Gospel-inspired playlist of her favorite tunes for Takeover Tuesday.

"I’m extremely lucky to have a ton of great friends and many of them are incredibly talent musicians. The best part about having talented friends, is the ability to listen to their music and make them a part of my life," says Monroe. "These songs are some of my favorites to take a long drive through the rolling hills of Tennessee and head to the river. Even when I’m not physically on a road trip, this playlist evokes the emotion behind the carefree restlessness of a journey with some great friends.”

The 19-track playlist features the music of Lambert, Presley and other country musicians who Monroe loves, but reaches outside of country with more road trip-friendly tunes from Lana Del Rey, John Mayer and even Tom Petty's pre-Heartbreakers group Mudcrutch. Check out Ashley Monroe's eclectic playlist for Takeover Tuesday below.

*Note: Monroe's playlist also features Lauryn Hill's rendition of "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," which is not available on Spotify. Listen here.
