Carrie Underwood isn't afraid of showing off her battle wounds.

On Friday (Oct. 5), the 35-year-old singer posted a throwback selfie on Instagram that clearly displays a lip scar from her terrifying fall last November. The close-up photo, snapped during her "Love Wins" music video shoot, shows the singer wearing colorful make-up around her eyes.

“#FBF to filming the Love Wins music video!” she captioned the image, along with an official YouTube link to the video.

In November 2017, a few days after hosting the ACM Awards, Underwood tripped and fell while walking on the steps outside of her Nashville home. The accident left her with a broken wrist and needing 40-50 stitches on her face.

After the fall, Underwood told fans she's doing well but "not quite looking the same... I am determined to make 2018 amazing and I want to share things with you along the way," she said. "And when I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different.”

Ahead of her ACM Awards appearance in April, Underwood shared the first up-close photo of her smiling face. The picture revealed no visible scarring, ending speculation that the accident left the singer with a badly damaged face.

Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, are expecting their second child together.

#FBF to filming the Love Wins music video! ❤️❤️❤️
