Pitbull and Nick Jonas will also voice-star.

Blake Shelton is the latest celebrity to lend his musical talents to STXfilms' UglyDolls movie. Pitbull, Kelly Clarkson and Nick Jonas will also voice-star, along with Wanda Sykes and Gabriel Iglesias.

The animated feature is based on the plush toy line by David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim. Set in the adorably different town of Uglyville, the free-spirited Moxy and her UglyDolls friends confront what it means to be different, struggle with their desire to be loved and ultimately discover that you don't have to be perfect to be amazing, because who you truly are is what matters most.

Shelton will play OX, the unofficial mayor of Uglyville, and perform original music for the movie, along with Jonas, Clarkson and Pitbull. Atlantic Records is set to release the original motion picture soundtrack.

The animated feature will hit theaters next year and will act as the first installment in an UglyDolls universe, which currently includes a kids' series in the works at Hulu. Shelton, who also voice-starred in The Angry Birds movie, is repped by WME and Starstruck.
