Carrie Underwood is putting her game face on for her new Sunday Night Football anthem "Game On." The country superstar took to Twitter on Thursday night (Aug. 30) to share a behind-the-scenes video of the production and creative process for the hard-hitting track.

In the tweet's video, captioned "New SNF on NBC Open featuring "Game On" performed & co-written by Carrie along with Chris Destefano & Brett James. Take a look behind the scenes now!," fans see Underwood and director Tripp Dixon discuss how this year they wanted to change the opening theme to something that will amp people up even more for football season.

"It is an honor to be back for my sixth year of Sunday Night Football." says Underwood. "We just felt like it was maybe time to switch it up. I got together with a couple of incredible song writers, Chris Destefano and Brett James. We wrote it specifically for Sunday Night Football and it's such a great hype song."

The video takes viewers on a trip to the multiple locations in which it was shot, including Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Dallas, Philadelphia, Seattle and New York. Dixon adds, "Anytime you work with a big star like Carrie and then you combine that with NFL's best, you know it's going to be big and you know it's going to be fun."
