The Dixie Chicks arrive at the David Lynch Foundation Gala Honoring Rick Rubin at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Feb. 27, 2014 in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks took to Instagram on Tuesday (July 31) to inform fans that #dcx2018 is on the way.

The frontwoman shared a photo of producer Jack Antonoff playing the fiddle, seemingly in the studio. "Fiddle face," she wrote in the caption. "Fiddle feet," she added on another photo of just that.

While there's no confirmation of an album release date, Maines' recent affinity for the hashtag #dcx2018 implies that a new release is closer than ever.
