Following the success of her latest album, Golden Hour, Kacey Musgraves stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday night (July 24) for a glowing performance of the record's title track.

Basking in the soft, yellow stage lights and wearing a burnt orange one-piece, Musgraves channeled the feeling of a sunset in her mellowed-out performance. Her six-piece backing band ebbed and flowed with her flawlessly during the throwback country ballad's chill mood, accented by pedal steel and an AM radio vibe. Standing mostly still at the mic, the alt-country star from, yes, Golden, Texas, swayed as she crooned the chorus, "Baby don't you know / That you're my golden hour / The color of my sky / You've set my world on fire."

Musgraves is in the midst of preparing for her Oh, What a World: Tour, which will kick off in January 2019 and has already sold-out a handful of dates.
