Garth Brooks celebrates becoming the first artist in the recording industry to earn seven Diamond certifications at Ascend Amphitheater on Oct. 24, 2016 in Nashville.

On Monday (July 23) afternoon, Garth Brooks is celebrating the two-year anniversary of his 'Inside Studio G: A Monday Night Conversation' Facebook Live series with a special Live broadcast from Facebook Headquarters.

Reflecting on two years of interacting with fans via Facebook Live, Brooks tells Billboard "it hasn't changed [fan interaction] as much as it has enhanced it. It exposed the love between the artist and those people that allow me to be an artist."

There's been a number of highlights over the last two years, with Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood announcing their joint holiday album via Facebook Live, Brooks exclusively revealing the cover art for his 2016 album Gunslinger and even a visit to Houston to talk with two astronauts, Peggy Whitson and Jack "2Fish" Fischer, while they were in space.

"My favorite thing about talking to Peggy and 2Fish is that I got to be the fan," Brooks recalls of his NASA-assisted chat.

As for the most surprising moment in his two years of doing Inside Studio G, Brooks cites the episode where the answer to every question happened to be yes.

"The most unexpected moment was the ‘YES’ show, where the answer was YES to everything that the viewers were writing in," Brooks says. "I’ve learned we can trust these people to guide our path for us because they want what’s best for you."
