Carrie Underwood is one of today's hottest voices in country, so it's only fitting that the superstar kicks off Spotify's Hot Country Live series. The "Cry Pretty" singer was announced Tuesday (June 12) as the headliner of the special event, which will take place in New York City on July 4.

Supporting Underwood during the festivities is Dan + Shay, whose latest single "Tequila" currently sits at 41 on the Billboard Hot 100. Both the solo star and the duo are fresh off their recent performances at CMA Fest 2018. Both acts lit up the crowd, and are sure to do the same at The Rooftop at Pier 17 come Fourth of July.

Tickets for Hot Country Live go on sale Wednesday (June 13) at 10:00 a.m. ET. Snag them here, and see the announcement tweet below.
