Sam Hunt, Backstreet Boys, Little Big Town & More to Debut New Songs at 2018 CMT Music Awards

Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia Line and Kelly Clarkson will also perform live TV debuts on Wednesday night (June 6).

The 2018 CMT Music Awards -- airing live Wednesday night (June 6) -- will feature world premiere television performances by Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia Line, Kelly Clarkson, Little Big Town, Sam Hunt and Backstreet Boys. Adding to the star-studded excitement, the singers will also perform brand-new songs to kick off the soundtrack of the summer.

Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Jason Aldean and Kelsea Ballerini were previously announced as performers for Wednesday’s epic country music event.

“CMT music fans have an unquenchable thirst for music discovery,” Margaret Comeaux, executive producer of the CMT Music Awards, said in a release. “This show features the freshest and most exciting summer songs ever presented on one stage.”

The lineup of world premiere television performances includes:

Darius Rucker feat. Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Charles Kelley – “Straight to Hell”

Dierks Bentley feat. Brothers Osborne – “Burning Man”

Florida Georgia Line – “Simple”

Kelly Clarkson – “American Woman”

Little Big Town – “Summer Fever”

Sam Hunt – “Downtown’s Dead”

Backstreet Boys – “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”

The CMT Music Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 6, at 8 p.m. ET.
