Taylor Swift and Pat Monahan perform onstage at the Prudential Center on March 29, 2013 in Newark, New Jersey.

Pat Monahan has had plenty of success as the frontman of Train, but it apparently takes a co-sign from Taylor Swift to impress kids these days.

The pair worked together to write what would become country duo Sugarland's new single, "Babe," and Swift sent her co-writer a bouquet of flowers to celebrate the release of "our song."

"I'm so excited about our song! Sending you and your family the biggest hug and I hope to see you soon!" she wrote on a note delivered with the floral arrangement, which Monahan posted a photo of on Instagram.

"Some of you already know that @sugarland has a new single out called #babe that sounds awesome. I was lucky enough to have written it with @taylorswift and I want to thank Taylor for being so kind, sweet and talented and letting me be a part of her huge life," Monahan captioned the picture. "And thank you for these. My kids think I’m pretty cool."

Besides holding songwriter credit for "Babe," Swift's vocals are also featured on the track. She landed her first top 40 Country Airplay hit since December 2013 with the song, off of Sugarland's forthcoming album, Bigger.
