Cam performs on The Late Late Show with James Corden on April 16, 2018 on the CBS Television Network.

Covered in a sparkling rainbow turquoise top paired with high-waisted black pants, a stunning Cam took to Stage 56 on Monday night's (Apr. 16) The Late Late Show with James Corden to perform her heart-rending single “Diane.” The singer, who was illuminated by a single beam of light when she entered the stage, belted out the chorus of the song about accidental infidelity with angelic clarity. “I promise I didn’t know he was your man, I would have noticed a gold wedding band, Diane," she sang.

The band swelled and lit up behind her, and Cam tackled the track's first verse with pitch-perfect precision as the a rolling rhythm kicked in behind her. “I gave him my heart to break, now I know he broke yours first,” she lamented in the track that flips the storyline of Dolly Parton's legendary "Jolene." The highlight of the performance came in the third verse, when the instruments fell quiet and Cam harmonized with the band, leaving the audience stunned in silence before bursting into applause. “Oh Diane, Diane” Cam called out a cappella.

The performance reminded us why Cam is a country powerhouse to watch and got us even more excited for her forthcoming sophomore album, which she recently told Billboard on the ACM red carpet was “confident, real,” and “my best work yet.”
