Carrie Underwood, Old Dominion Set to Play Inaugural Live In The Vineyard Goes Country: Exclusive
Live In The Vineyard, the private music and wine festival that takes place in Napa, Calif., is launching a country edition next month in partnership with the Academy of Country Music.
Carrie Underwood headlines Live In The Vineyard Goes Country, May 15-17, with acoustic performances by Old Dominion, Hunter Hayes, Ashley McBryde, Maddie & Tae, Eric Paslay, Parmalee, Jerrod Niemann, Lindsay Ell, Maggie Rose, Mitchell Tenpenny, Cale Dodds and Cash Campbell.
The three-day festival gives attendees access to the artists, top winemakers and world-renowned chefs by combining music performances and epicurean experiences. Live In The Vineyard Goes Country will include a welcome reception with Old Dominion and Tenpenny, a guitar pull at a Napa winery, a concert at the Blue Note Napa and a send-off brunch.
"I have been a huge fan of country music for a long time and being an event in California it made perfect sense to partner with the [Encino, Calif.-based] Academy of Country Music to bring great music to the country fans in the Napa Valley and beyond," said Live In The Vineyard Goes Country CEO Bobbii Hach-Jacobs. "We have had several country artists perform during the years and the reaction has been amazing.”
Like the 19 previous Live In the Vineyard events, there are no tickets sold to Live In the Vineyard Goes Country; instead, fans win tickets through various promotions and sweepstakes. They can enter for a chance to win at www.liveinthevineyardgoescountry.com, as well as at select ACM Party for a Cause events April 12-15 in Las Vegas surrounding Sunday’s 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards.
Additionally, tickets for Live In The Vineyard Goes Country are available through special radio station promotions with iHeart Radio, Cumulus, Entercom, Westwood One, and local participating stations, as well as through a sweepstakes with presenting sponsor Southwest Airlines. Attendance is capped at 350.
As Hach-Jacobs mentions, Live In The Vineyard began flirting with a country edition last November when LeAnn Rimes, Sara Evans, Paslay, Ell and Jessie James Decker joined a line up that included such pop acts as Haim, Julia Michaels, and The All American Rejects.
That event kicked off the partnership with the ACM, which led to May’s all-country version. Among the other sponsors are Regusci Winery and The Meritage Resort and Spa.
