High Valley Discusses Being Siblings in the Spotlight and Sing Drake's 'God's Plan': Watch
Some people can't stand spending a ton of time with their siblings, but for Curtis and Brad Rempel, sibling separation isn't really an option. That's because the brothers make up country duo High Valley, who are hitting the country scene hard with their bluegrassy vibe and catchy tunes, like the Country Airplay Top 10 hit "She's With Me."
What's a perk of having your brother as your bandmate? As Curtis puts it, "The biological meshing of the vocal tones," of course.
Though the guys didn't sing together on camera, Brad did bust out a snippet of the song that he currently can't get out of his head -- Drake's "God's Plan," which is likely the song a lot of people have stuck in their heads, as it has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 10 weeks straight. (He didn't quite know the words to the song, which Curtis called out in a very sibling-like move.)
Along with being brothers, one thing that catches the attention of fans is the guys' name, thanks to its resemblance to something completely unrelated to country music: ranch dressing. High Valley has often been mistaken for Hidden Valley, the famous dressing brand. Has that made them serious ranch fans? Well, not quite.
"I like ranch with pizza, but that's it," Curtis said. "I don't like ranch with anything else, ever." Though Brad didn't express his thoughts, he joked, "We are never getting an endorsement from Hidden Valley."
The High Valley guys will be bringing their sibling hilarity to the 2018 ACM Awards in Las Vegas on April 15. Check out the rest of what they told Billboard ahead of the awards above, and tune into the ACMs when they broadcast live from Las Vegas on April 15 at 8 p.m. ET.
