In keeping with today (March 8) being recognized as international Women’s Day, the Carolina Country Music Fest gave a nod to country music’s leading ladies and rising stars today with the addition of Deana Carter, Runaway June, Stephanie Quayle, Kasey Tyndall and Kennedy Fitzsimmons.

Luke Bryan, Toby Keith, Zac Brown Band and Cole Swindell are set to headline the three-day fest in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, June 7-10, 2018. For more information and to see the lineup, visit

“We are excited to announce this talented group of artists who represent a broad range of country music, from iconic singer-songwriter Deana Carter to ACM nominated trio Runaway June to fresh newcomers Kasey Tyndall, Kennedy Fitzsimmons and Stephanie Quayle,” said Bob Durkin, president of Carolina Country Music Fest.

On International Women’s Day and every day, CCMF strives to offer a platform for the many incredible female artists in the country genre, with today’s announced artists featuring rising newcomers such as Runaway June (whose current single “Wild West” hit No. 40 on the Country Airplay Chart), Quayle, Tyndall, and Fitzsimmons, as well as Carter, who scored with such iconic hits as “We Danced Anyway” and “Strawberry Wine,” which netted her the CMA Award for Single Record of the Year in 1997.

Named one of the top five country music festivals by Billboard in late 2017, Carolina Country Music Fest is one of the fastest growing outdoor music festivals in the country, with more than 30,000 country music fans in attendance last year. The festival site spans 18 acres of oceanfront in Myrtle Beach from the boardwalk to Ocean Boulevard.
