Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles are reuniting for the first time since 2011, taking us down memory lane with the brand-new Sugarland single "Still the Same."

The five-time CMA Award-winning duo's last album, The Incredible Machine, was released over seven years ago and hit No. 1 on our Top Country Albums chart.

Since then, Nettles has released two solo albums, That Girl in 2014 and Playing With Fire in 2016, and did some acting on Broadway and television. Bush released his own solo project, Gravity, in 2015, while serving as a producer on Lindsay Ell’s The Project and more.

Picking up where they left off, the single blends Nettles’ towering vocals and Bush's electric guitar for an elevating country/rock mix. “It was really quite anticlimactic," Bush said in an iHeartCountry interview about the reunion. "We hung out in a room for the first time in five, six years and wrote a song and started in about 45 minutes. Exactly what you’re hearing is exactly what we’re feeling in that moment. What’s this like? Where have you been? How are you feeling?"

The video for the new single, below, is a montage of their performances throughout the years, including tours and behind-the-scenes footage of recording sessions.

The duo is scheduled to perform on Dick Clark’s New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2018 on ABC.
