Ahead of county music's biggest night this week, we had one of the biggest names in the genre put together a classically country playlist. Sixteen-time Country Music Association Award winner Alan Jackson, who will be taking the stage to perform on the 51st annual CMAs Wednesday (Nov. 8), compiled a list of some of his favorite honky-tonk jams -- fitting, as he's a honky-tonk owner himself.

"I always wanted to own a honky-tonk that plays real country music on Broadway that I could put my name on," says Jackson, who opened AJ's Good Time Bar on Nashville's Broadway in 2016. The four-story bar features live music, karaoke, a rooftop, a model of the legendary singer's fishing boat and, of course, lots of country music.

As the sole owner of the bar, Jackson knows exactly what kind of tunes play at his establishment. And in light of the CMAs taking over Nashville, the 2017 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee created a playlist to give country fans a taste of his authentic honky-tonk atmosphere.

From George Jones to "Devil Went Down to Georgia," get in the country spirit with Alan Jackson's Honky-Tonk Playlist.
