Here's What You Didn't See on TV From the 2017 CMT Music Awards

The 2017 CMT Music Awards brought together just about every notable name in the country music world and beyond on Wednesday night (June 7), from Little Big Town taking home the first award of the night to Lady Antebellum closing things out by teaming up with Earth, Wind & Fire. But while there was plenty going on that fans could see, it was what happened behind the scenes that really showed what the country scene is all about: good times and comradery.

Billboard was right in the heart of the action at Nashville's Music City Center, catching interactions between the stars, candid moments, and -- of course -- some serious Predators pride. Take a look at what you didn't see at the CMT Music Awards below.

5:22 p.m. CST Luke Bryan takes selfies with fans in the front row of the grey carpet, along with Social Media Superstar nominee Jake Owen not long after.

5:47 p.m. Brett Eldredge gives Reba McIntyre a big hug as they cross paths on the grey carpet.

6:31 p.m. Sam Hunt and Thomas Rhett meet up backstage before heading into the venue and talk Thomas' new baby Willa.

6:42 p.m. Kellie Pickler takes a picture with the Predators' mascot, Nash, then runs Into Jada Pinkett Smith and (naturally) has to take a picture with her.

6:45 p.m. Cole Swindell shares a laugh with Dustin Lynch, who's makes his way to the stage to present the first award of the night, group video of the year.

6:53 p.m. Florida Georgia Line make their way to their seats holding hands with their wives and using their other hands for some delicious looking drinks.

What's up y'all!? Who's watching the #cmtawards ???

7:19 p.m. Lady Antebellum parade their way through the backstage area with their spouses, but not without posing for a lovers photo all together.

7:52 p.m. As Lauren Alaina accepted her breakthrough video of the year award, Blake Shelton strolls through backstage with a BS cup in hand.

8:36 p.m. Jon Pardi enjoys a post-performance hang near the artist lounge before coming by Billboard's live stream.

9:07 p.m. John Osborne gives Lady A's guitarist Jason "Slim" Gambill and drummer (and Hillary Scott's husband) Chris Tyrell a big bro hug.

9:42 p.m. After the show comes to a close, the stars continue their mingling -- Midland with Luke Combs, Michael Ray with Drake White, Luke Bryan with Jason Derulo...

9:47 p.m. ...but work isn't done for Keith Urban, who stops to chat with the Today show before heading to any post-show celebrations and mingling.

9:48 p.m. Around the corner, Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line snap some pics together before Luke grabs Keith for a big congratulatory hug.

9:58 p.m. Carrie Underwood gets a congratulations from Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild, quickly followed by Mr. Congrats, Luke Bryan.

Woo hoo!!! #CMTAwards Thank you all so much for voting!!! You're the best! --

10:05 p.m. While filming an end-of-the night interview with Extra, Little Big Town sing a little Earth, Wind & Fire "September" cover followed by a rousing "we want the cup!" chant - an appropriate closing and lead-in for the pending Game 5 the next night.
