Tim McGraw and Faith Hill brought their energetic and sexy Soul to Soul tour to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Thursday. Here are the 10 best things from their stop.

1. The Bruce Tributes

Both The Shadowboxers -- who opened for the husband and wife duo -- and McGraw himself paid tribute to Bruce Springsteen. (The native New Jerseyan was in attendance at the show.) The Shadowboxers closed their set with a poppy cover of "Dancing in the Dark," while Tim -- along with the backup singers and band -- joined together for an a cappella version of "Hungry Heart." The cries of "Bruuuuuuuuce" echoed all through the arena.

2. Tim and Faith's Chemistry

From their banter -- "She's always gonna win the stare-down," "I'm gonna let you win some night" -- to their affectionate pats on the butt and their smoking-hot kiss following "I Need You," it's clear that the pair is in love, and genuinely enjoys performing together every night.

3. The Mix of Old and New

Tim brought out "I Like It, I Love It" and "Something Like That." Faith sang "This Kiss," "Breathe," "Mississippi Girl" and a few more older hits. Then, of course, they performed their newest single "Speak to a Girl" (more on that below). And they also previewed their upcoming album by singing the melancholy but affecting "Break First" and the upbeat "Telluride." Speaking of that ...

4. "Telluride"

Not to be confused with the song of the same name off Tim's 2001 album Set This Circus Down, this "Telluride" is a delightful duet between the married superstars. Aside from "Shotgun Rider" (this one, not this one) and "Meanwhile Back at Mama's," the McGraw-Hill duets tend to be emotional ballads about love ("Let's Make Love," "I Need You," "It's Your Love," "Speak to a Girl") or love and loss ("Angry All the Time," "Like We Never Loved at All"). "Tellluride" let's them be playful again.

5. Faith's Beyoncé Break

During Faith's performance of "Free," a slight interlude of Beyoncé's "Freedom" pleasantly interrupted Hill's singing before the last verse.

6. The Joplin Cover

"Freedom" wasn't a full cover, but Hill did take on Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart" and sang the hell out of it, too.

7. The "Humble and Kind" Imagery

Yes, it's the same that McGraw used in his official video for his hit, but on the day that Congress voted to overturn the Affordable Care Act, it felt more poignant than ever.

8. Faith Correcting Tim

After the pair duetted on "Speak to a Girl," Tim told the audience, "Young men, pay attention to that song. Young ladies, expect it." And Faith loudly proclaimed, "Everybody expect it."
